Who is responsible

This site is a personal CV run by Gergely Németh. For anything about your data, write to gergely.nmth@gmail.com and I will answer personally.

The short version

  • Nothing is measured until you press Accept on the banner.
  • There is no advertising, no profiling, and no sharing with data brokers.
  • There is no contact form and no account, so there is nothing to sign up for.
  • You can change your mind at any time with the Analytics settings control in the footer.

Analytics, only if you accept

If you accept, the site loads Vercel Web Analytics. It counts page views so I can see which parts of the CV people read. It sets no cookie and stores no identifier in your browser, and it cannot follow you to other websites.

If you decline, the analytics script is never loaded at all. This is not a switch that hides something already running. The script that would collect anything is never fetched.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it whenever you like, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it.

What is stored in your browser

Your answer to the banner is saved in your browser under the key nmth-cv.analytics, with the value granted or denied. That is the only thing this site writes to your device.

It never leaves your browser and I cannot read it. It exists so you are not asked the same question on every page. Clearing your site data removes it, and the banner will ask again.

What the server sees regardless

This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives and logs the technical details of each request, including your IP address, the page requested, and your browser user agent. This happens before any script runs, so consent cannot switch it off, in the same way that consent cannot stop a letter carrier seeing an envelope.

These logs are Vercel’s own operational records, kept to run and secure the platform. I do not build profiles from them. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, specifically operating and securing a website.

If you email me

The address on this site opens your own mail program. Nothing is submitted through the site itself. If you write to me, I keep your message and address for as long as the conversation is useful, which for a job enquiry means the length of the process and a reasonable period after it.

What this site does not do

  • No advertising and no ad networks.
  • No third-party embeds, no social widgets, no comment system.
  • No fonts loaded from a third party at page load. They are served from this site.
  • No automated decision making and no profiling.
  • No selling or sharing of personal data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, ask for it to be restricted, and withdraw consent you have given. Write to the address above and I will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to a supervisory authority. In Hungary that is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), naih.hu. You may also complain to the authority where you live.

Changes

If what this site does changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
